Hi! This is a website about me, Gretchen, and my family and friends.
~
I decided to start to try to join Mommy and Daddy in the outside world at the end of January. It was starting to get really cramped in there. Mommy started having these big cramps that kind of squished me and I knew it was time to start getting a move on. For 2 days Mommy had those cramps. She couldn't sleep or get comfortable. Neither could I!
~
I heard the doctor tell her one time when she went for a check-up that I should be born around the 23rd of January, but I didn't really like that day. I thought it was better to wait 10 more days and have my birthday at the beginning of February. So that's what I did. But then I was sort of big and I couldn't fit. I tried and I tried, but I kept bumping my head on mommy's bones, the ones with the hole in the middle called a pelvis. It was just too small.
~
Before I knew it, I saw this line open up in mommy's belly. Through that line I could see big hands and bright lights. Those hands reached in there and pulled me out. It was cold! Being out there in the world for the first time was nothing like being all comfy cozy inside mom. So I made sure everyone in that rooms knew I was none too happy about being yanked out like that.
~
They say I haven't stopped since!
